Haley, a gorgeous high school senior from Virginia, wanted me to snap a few images of her before she graduated high school. It was a quick and fun session and I am glad I was able to capture some nice shots for her family before she embarks on this new journey to college in the Fall!! She is such a joy to be around and it was really cool to see how she has grown into a lovely woman, inside and out! Enjoy a few of my favorite images…
I had the lovely pleasure of photographing this sweet family at Chetola Resort, in Blowing Rock, NC, last weekend. An old friend from college days at Appalachian State, Elizabeth, asked if I would photograph her family together as they gathered up here in the mountains, and of course I obliged. 🙂 Such a friendly group, and the kids were all so well behaved, especially for a group this big!! Thanks for letting me be a part of your weekend together and I truly hope you were blessed with your family time together!

We went on our yearly family beach camping trip this year with my parents, to the South Carolina Coast, to Huntington Beach State Park. It was a really sweet reminder of my childhood, since not only did I get to bring my children back to the place I grew up going to as a kid, but my brother who lives in Seattle, Washington happened to be able to join us! He had been literally traveling the world for the past year and chose to visit good ol’ NC before heading back to the West Coast. He’s an amazing artist and my oldest daughter is always interested in what he’s creating! Such great times were had and I am glad I got to capture a tiny sliver at Atalaya. Enjoy some of my favorite images…
So I finally got around to taking some photos of my beautiful girls! A HUGE thanks too, to my wonderful and talented hubs for taking some of me and them too!! I am a little biased, but aren’t these gals just the cutest!?! I am so very thankful to be their Mama!! LOVE these guys more than words can describe…
I can’t believe she is 2 years old already! Where does the time go? This is my quick attempt to squeeze in a few shots of my dear daughter as she just turned two!! These show her personality for sure 🙂 Enjoy!
What fun! Cars, good folks and North Carolina BBQ…. It doesn’t get much better than that, does it? I had such a fun time being able to capture some cool images at this “Cruise In” at Smoky Mountain BBQ in West Jefferson, NC. I met a lot of really neat people too, from all over Western NC, even some all the way from Alaska! Enjoy folks! 🙂
Here are some shots from a wedding we were able to rent our tables to this summer. Don’t they look great! And I just loved what the bride did with the centerpieces… very elegant but still rustic. We are booking up for 2013 and hope to have 10 tables available if you know anyone that might like to rent them for their event 🙂

This past weekend we had the opportunity to share a couple farm tables with some friends of ours at their wedding at Camp Sky Ranch, located just outside of Boone. What an amazing experience! We wish you all the best Edwin and Jeannie! If you are interested in farm table rentals, give us a call… This is one of the 9′ Pine farm tables we are renting out now for events and such. They make the perfect head table, gift table, or rent them for your entire wedding guests. Each table sits approximately 10 people and rental is $100 each.
I had to post this! I was 37 weeks pregnant when Devin and I took this, not knowing a week later I would give birth to little Nora Elaine. Born January 27th at 5:33am, weighing 6.9 lbs and measuring 18.5 inches. I am such a proud momma! She is the biggest blessing in our lives and we are trying to soak in one day at a time… I am sure more photos will be to come on here of sweet little Nora, but I promise I will still post design and photography work 🙂 Enjoy!
Courtney and Andy wed in Jefferson, North Carolina this summer and we were blessed to be able to photograph their gorgeous day!! Since Jefferson is where my hubby and I just recently moved to, it was especially fun designing their wedding album as well. This area has much to offer, including awesome folks, amazing food, great hiking and my favorite aspect- the New River. Located here in Ashe County, this river’s twists and turns are enjoyed by fishermen, tubers, canoes, and kayaks in the summer. It is a lazy river, and perfect for families of all ages 🙂 Enjoy checking out this album which I just wrapped up for these two. May their lives be filled with love and laughter, and many years of happiness!!
